Satellite imagery cannot be colour-graded or shot from a flattering angle, which makes it a better guide to an island than anything a resort will publish — the real beach, the real reef, and exactly how close that neighbour is: 3.6077, 72.9007

Island, atoll, rooms and operator from the Ministry of Tourism register (2026-08-17). Rooms are licensed capacity, not marketed villas. Coordinate from the LiteAPI hotel catalogue, checked against the register's atoll. Distances are straight-line, computed here; the journey is longer.

Arriving

Nearest runway other than Velana is Maamigili (VAM), 17 km away. Trans Maldivian Airways lists a seaplane transfer here, which carries hard limits:

Daylight only

Seaplanes cannot fly after dark. Whatever time your international flight lands, the transfer only runs between sunrise and sunset — roughly 06:00 to 18:00 year round, since the Maldives sits near the equator and day length barely changes.

A late arrival costs you a night

Land too late for the last seaplane and you overnight in Malé or Hulhumalé at your own expense, then fly out the next morning. The operator says so plainly; resort booking pages generally do not. Budget for a hotel night and a lost day whenever your inbound flight arrives late afternoon or later.

25kg baggage limit, not your airline’s

The seaplane allowance is 25kg per person total — 20kg checked plus 5kg hand luggage. Most international carriers allow 30kg or more, so the constraint that matters is the one nobody mentions when you book the flight. Excess is charged, or your bag follows on a later aircraft.

Lounge access is not automatic

Some resorts include a lounge at the seaplane terminal and some do not. Without one you wait in the public Neeri Lounge, where refreshments are bought rather than included. Waits of several hours are normal, because seaplanes depart when they are full rather than to a published timetable.

On the island

From the booking-platform record, not the resort. A short list of the things that change a decision — confirm anything you are relying on.

Special diets on request

What “Dine Around All Inclusive (DAAI)” does not include

From the resort’s own published terms. This is where an all-inclusive plan usually stops meaning what it sounds like.

  • All bottled wines, sparkling wine and champagne on the Sommelier's Choice wine list are excluded — only the resort standard wine list is included by the glass.
  • Menu items marked with a double asterisk at the specialty restaurants (Moodhu Grill, Art-I-San, Koto) carry an individual supplement even under this plan.
  • Prior reservations are required for dinner at any specialty restaurant, subject to availability.
  • Guests booked in the same room must all be on the same meal plan, and only one meal plan can be chosen per stay; benefits cannot be shared with guests outside the room or transferred to another person.
  • Two lower tiers, Half Board (HB) and Half Board Plus (HBP), are sold below this one and cover progressively less — e.g. HB includes no beverages package at all, only breakfast, lunch and dinner at set restaurants.

The plan runs from arrival to 12:00 on departure day. Destination dining experiences (floating breakfast, Hideaway Teepee, Sunset Cabana) are separate paid add-ons, not named among the DAAI inclusions.

Transfer

25-minute seaplane, operated by Trans Maldivian Airways. Cost not published on the resort’s own site.

Seaplanes fly daylight hours only: an inbound international flight must land 06:00–15:30 and guests must check in at the TMA counter by 16:00 to catch the last transfer, or an overnight stay in Malé is required at the guest's own cost. Each guest is allowed 20kg checked luggage. No transfer cost is published anywhere on the resort's site.

Room categories

  • Beach Villa— Sleeps up to 3.
  • Beach Villa with Private Pool— Sleeps up to 3.
  • Over Water VillaOverwater— Sleeps up to 3.
  • Over Water Villa with Private PoolOverwater— Sleeps up to 3.
  • Two Bedroom Beach Villa with Private Pool— Sleeps up to 4.

Only these five categories are linked from the resort's own room-type navigation, though its room-finder tool also lists filterable "Suites", "V47", "Club Room" and "Accessible Room" types with no static page reached for any of them — the register's 93-room total cannot be broken down against category names here. Each category page states a room size followed only by the unit "ft" with no "sq" and no superscript, and the number is not internally consistent (the Two Bedroom Beach Villa is listed at roughly 20x the one-bedroom categories, an implausible jump) — sizes are omitted here rather than guessing which unit or figure is correct.
