What stands out

Our reading of the figures below, not a review. We have not stayed here.

Eri Maldives is 2.42 km away

Close enough to be on your horizon, though not close enough to overhear. 2 resorts sit within 5km of this island, so this is a populated stretch of atoll rather than open ocean.

Satellite imagery cannot be colour-graded or shot from a flattering angle, which makes it a better guide to an island than anything a resort will publish — the real beach, the real reef, and exactly how close that neighbour is: 4.6106, 73.4213

Island, atoll, rooms and operator from the Ministry of Tourism register (2026-08-17). Rooms are licensed capacity, not marketed villas. Coordinate from the LiteAPI hotel catalogue, checked against the register's atoll. Distances are straight-line, computed here; the journey is longer.

Arriving

Nearest runway other than Velana is Dharavandhoo (DRV), 69 km away. Trans Maldivian Airways does not list a seaplane transfer here. They are the largest operator but not the only one, so that means we cannot show you a route, not that none exists.

What “Essentials: All-Inclusive Plan” does not include

From the resort’s own published terms. This is where an all-inclusive plan usually stops meaning what it sounds like.

  • Airport transfers are not included on this base plan: a speedboat transfer is charged at USD 100 per person aged 12 and over, USD 50 for a child aged 2 to 11.99, and is free under 2. The resort's own terms do not say whether that figure covers one leg or the round trip.
  • In-villa dining ("Thashibari") is not part of this plan at all. It appears only on the resort's higher-priced Greatest All-Inclusive tier, and even there it is capped at one meal per stay, not on demand.
  • All-inclusive dining routes through a single restaurant, Kaa Kada (a five-cart dine-around for breakfast, lunch and dinner). The resort's theatrical Samaasaa dining experience is not included; the higher tier gives only a USD 50 per-villa, per-stay credit toward it, not free access.
  • Water sports beyond snorkelling-gear rental are excluded: diving, motorised water sports (jet ski, fun tube), and paddleboard/kayak use are not part of this plan at all — the Greatest tier caps them instead of including them outright (one complimentary reef dive for a certified diver, or 50% off Discover Scuba, for one person per stay; one 20-minute jet ski and fun-tube session per villa per stay; 30 minutes per day of non-motorised paddleboard or kayak use).
  • Spa treatments are not included on either tier — the "wellness" inclusion is a complimentary morning/evening ritual session, not a Hoba Spa treatment.
  • Gala dinners held during festive periods carry an extra charge on both tiers, and private dining beyond the Greatest tier's one included credit is chargeable.

Oaga sells two named tiers, not one: this Essentials plan (no minimum stay, transfers charged separately) and a higher "Greatest All-Inclusive" plan (https://oagaresorts.com/offers/maldives-greatest-all-inclusive/, checked 2026-09-03) that requires a minimum stay of three nights and adds a complimentary return speedboat transfer plus the capped extras listed above — still not the same as full inclusion.

Transfer

45-minute speedboat. $100, per adult (12+); USD 50 for a child aged 2–11.99; free under 2 — not included in the room rate. The resort prints that figure without saying whether it covers the return journey, so it may be each way. Confirm before you budget on it — the difference is the whole price again.

Charged only on the base Essentials plan above. The higher Greatest All-Inclusive plan (minimum stay 3 nights) includes a "complimentary return" speedboat transfer instead — the word "return" there is the only point on either page that confirms which direction either figure covers.

Room categories

  • Veyoge Gallery Pool Villa56The resort's own FAQ places this in a distinct "Gallery Pool Villa" category, separate from both its Beach Villas and Water Villas/Suites — not marketed as beachfront.

  • Bodu Haruge Beach Villa with Private Pool156
  • Haruge Beach Pool Suite180Listed "Coming Soon – August 1st" at the time checked; that date had already passed, so it may since have opened.

  • Avi Water Villa with Private PoolOverwater114Listed "Coming Soon – October 2026" at the time checked — not bookable yet.

  • Avi Water Suite with Private PoolOverwater164Two-bedroom, for up to 4 adults. Listed "Coming Soon – November 2026" at the time checked — not bookable yet.
  • Radhun Residential Suite with Private Pool & SlideOverwater292Three-bedroom, the largest category. Listed "Coming Soon – November 2026" at the time checked — not bookable yet.

Nine villa categories are marketed, but at the time checked, five of them — every overwater category — carried "Coming Soon" or "Rebooting" labels rather than being open for booking. No overwater villa at this resort could actually be booked on the date checked, despite overwater accommodation being part of its marketing. No unit counts are published for any category.
