What stands out

Our reading of the figures below, not a review. We have not stayed here.

Reethi Faru Resort is 2.53 km away

Close enough to be on your horizon, though not close enough to overhear. 4 resorts sit within 5km of this island, so this is a populated stretch of atoll rather than open ocean.

156 km out

Far enough south or north that the transfer is a significant part of both the cost and the day. Whatever the nightly rate looks like, price the journey before comparing it with somewhere in Malé Atoll.

Satellite imagery cannot be colour-graded or shot from a flattering angle, which makes it a better guide to an island than anything a resort will publish — the real beach, the real reef, and exactly how close that neighbour is: 5.4759, 72.9541

Island, atoll, rooms and operator from the Ministry of Tourism register (2026-08-17). Rooms are licensed capacity, not marketed villas. Coordinate from the LiteAPI hotel catalogue, checked against the register's atoll. Distances are straight-line, computed here; the journey is longer.

Arriving

Nearest runway other than Velana is Ifuru (IFU), 27 km away. Trans Maldivian Airways does not list a seaplane transfer here. They are the largest operator but not the only one, so that means we cannot show you a route, not that none exists.

What “Premium All-Inclusive” does not include

From the resort’s own published terms. This is where an all-inclusive plan usually stops meaning what it sounds like.

  • The plan grants one restaurant per meal, not a free choice of several — the resort's own factsheet states "your entitlement includes one restaurant per meal."
  • À la carte dining is capped at a three-course meal per person ("a la carte inclusion is a three-course meal"); anything beyond that is presumably charged, though the resort does not say so explicitly.
  • Only non-motorised water sports are included (kayak and stand-up paddleboard). The resort separately advertises windsurfing, water-skiing, wakeboarding, banana-boat rides and jet skis, with no statement that any of them are part of the all-inclusive plan.
  • Complimentary boat excursions are capped at one each per stay, not unlimited: one Glass Bottom Boat trip, and a choice of one Dolphin Cruise OR one Sunset Cruise — not both.
  • Diving is not part of the plan. The resort's FAQ describes guests as "billed only for the dives you complete," with no mention of any dive being included in the all-inclusive rate.
  • Spa treatments are not included — the plan's "wellness" inclusion is complimentary yoga, Aquafit and fitness classes, not a treatment at the Niva Dhigali Spa.
  • Two airport lounges are sold as paid add-ons, not part of the plan: the Business Comfort Lounge (from USD 30) and the First-Class Sapphire Lounge (from USD 40), both requiring 48 hours' notice.

The resort's own materials describe what the plan includes rather than publishing an exclusion list, so the boundary above is read from what is, and is not, named as included.

Transfer

45-minute seaplane. Cost not published on the resort’s own site.

Applies to arrivals into Malé between 06:00 and 15:00. Arrivals after 15:00 are instead routed via a domestic flight plus a speedboat, about 70 minutes total. The resort states a maximum airport wait time of up to 3 hours. Two optional airport lounges are sold as an upgrade: the Business Comfort Lounge (from USD 30) and the First-Class Sapphire Lounge (from USD 40), each requiring 48 hours' notice. No cost is published for either transfer routing itself.
